Why play based learning?
Young children’s play allows them to explore, identify, negotiate,
take risks and create meaning. The intellectual and cognitive benefits
of playing have been well documented. Children who engage in
quality play experiences are more likely to have well-developed
memory skills, language development, and are able to regulate their
behaviour, leading to enhanced school adjustment and academic
learning (Bodrova & Leong, 2005).

About The owner
My name is Beverly Gupit. I am a self-motivated individual who loves working with children. Through my work experience I have gained communicative and great interpersonal skills. Working with children have taught me that every experience is an opportunity to learn something new. I have graduated with honours in the field of Early Childhood Education at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. During my Education I've gained a total of 505 hours in co-op experience at three different childcare providers. After my education I pursued a career in my graduated field. I have worked at two different childcare providers with a total of 5 years in experience. During this time I worked with all age groups from infants all the way to school age.
